Retezat Sky Race

Retezat SkyRace is a skyrunning race held in the spectacular landscape of the Retezat Mountains in Romania, offering runners a challenging experience on technical and varied mountain trails. The event combines the challenges of rugged terrain with the natural beauty of ridges, valleys, and alpine lakes, and is dedicated to mountain running and adventure enthusiasts. Organized with attention to safety and environmental respect, the race provides a passionate community and opportunities for socializing and self-improvement. On June 13, 2026, participants will be able to experience a true mountain adventure in the heart of Retezat.

Registration validation and kit pickup start at 16:00 the day before and between 7:00-8:30 on race day. The kit includes a personalized bib and technical product for the first 800 participants. Support points with water and food are available along the routes. The awards ceremony takes place at 17:30. DJ Cătălin Sănătescu ensures the atmosphere during the event.
