Race description
Hațeg Royal Trail is a mountain race held in the picturesque landscape of Hațeg, Hunedoara, offering varied routes for runners of all levels. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, 12 km cross-country, 6 km race, children's race, family run, and a race dedicated to people with special abilities "And I CAN!". The routes pass through forests, hills, and historical sites such as Hațeg Royal Fortress, providing a technical and spectacular experience. The organization is appreciated for clear markings and a friendly atmosphere, with attractive prizes and support from the local community.

Additional information
Kit pickup is between 18:00 and 20:00 on the day before the race. The start for the 6 km cross-country, 12 km cross-country, and half marathon is at 10:00 AM, while the Family run and "And I CAN!" race begin at 15:00. Registrations for children's races and the Family run can also be made on-site, subject to availability. It is recommended to choose a T-shirt size smaller than usual due to manufacturing tolerance. The event includes cash prizes and gifts, totaling approximately 30,000 RON in 2025, and promotes ecotourism and outdoor activities in the Tara Hategului area.
