Ultra Race Romania

Ultra Race Romania is a unique long-distance running race held over 250 km divided into 6 stages, in self-sufficient mode, exploring the pure wilderness, culture, and history of the Siriu, Buzău area. Participants will traverse a challenging route in the Carpathian Mountains, with legendary landscapes and places filled with stories and local mysteries. After completing the race, runners are invited to stay for two days to discover Romania's traditions, cuisine, and famous tourist attractions such as Peles Castle and Bran Castle. The event emphasizes life experience, long-term friendships, and the joy of being part of this extraordinary adventure.

The race is self-sufficient, with camping in tents during the 6 stages. Medical assistance, water at control points and camps, hot meals, bus transportation before and after the race, medals, and finisher T-shirts are provided. After the race, a 2-day cultural tour is organized in Brașov, Bran, and Sinaia, with hotel accommodation and meals included. Satellite SPOT live tracking is available for competitors. Participants must be prepared for wilderness conditions, with mandatory equipment and strict safety rules; the event also includes a cultural excursion after the race.
