Semimaraton „Pe Argeș în Jos”

The 'Down Argeș Half Marathon' is an annual sporting event held in the heart of Pitești, bringing together runners of all levels. The routes start from Strand Park, pass through Lunca Argeșului and Strand parks, and continue along the Argeș River promenade, offering a unique natural and urban setting for running. The event includes races for all ages and fitness levels, from children's races to the 21 km half marathon, promoting a healthy lifestyle and the local community. The atmosphere is lively, with supporters, music, and prizes for participants.

Kit pickup is on December 12 at EF Store and on December 14 at the Summer Theater for those outside Pitești. The start of the half marathon, 5 km, and 10 km races is at 10:00 AM in Strand Park. The children's race begins at 12:30 PM, and the awards ceremony is at 1:00 PM. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at registration and kit pickup. The event includes online registration, kit pickup on 12.12.2026, and results and photo verification after the event.
