Semimaraton Iași

The Iași Half Marathon is the largest running event in Northeast Romania, held annually in Palace of Culture Square. The half marathon course consists of two loops passing through the start area, offering runners a unique experience on the main streets of the city, with vehicle traffic stopped and revitalization points. The event has a strong charitable component, supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds through educational and social projects. Participation in the half marathon, cross 10 km, and popular races is an opportunity to do good and be part of a community dedicated to positive change.

Participants in the half marathon, 10 km cross, and 5 km cross races receive a disposable chip and a technical participation T-shirt. Registrations can be made online until the deadline, and after that, depending on availability, offline registrations can be made at the Iași Half Marathon island in Palas Mall. Same-day registrations are not allowed. The event provides an ambulance for medical assistance and many photos at the finish line and along the course. Participation includes hydration points, medical assistance, a participation kit, and the option to participate online or offline. The event has a charitable purpose, supporting projects for disadvantaged children.
