RotaRUN for Charity

RotaRUN for Charity is a sports and charity event organized by Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca, combining running with community involvement to support the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the Oncology Institute "Prof. dr. Ion Chiricuță" in Cluj-Napoca. The event on April 25, 2026, includes races of 3 km, 9 km, and a 2-hour run, offering participants the opportunity to run for a noble cause and contribute to creating a modern and welcoming environment for children with cancer. Participants receive a participation kit with a t-shirt, number, and timing chip, as well as access to hydration and food points. All funds collected from registration fees are directed towards completing the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department.

The size of the t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations until April 10, 2026; after this date, sizes will be allocated in the order of registration, subject to availability. Participants receive a race number and a timing chip, access to hydration and food points with sweet and salty foods, isotonic drinks, and supplements. The top 3 male and female finishers in each event will be awarded, both in the Open category and by age groups. The event also supports the purchase of modern furniture and medical equipment for the pediatric oncology department, serving as a fundraising and community awareness project.
