RotaRun 2026

RotaRun for Charity is a sports and charity event organized by Rotary Club Cluj-Napoca, combining running with community involvement to support children with cancer. The event on April 25, 2026, aims to complete the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the 'Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuță' Oncology Institute in Cluj-Napoca. Participants can choose from several races, from a 3 km cross to a 2-hour race, all held on the Someșului Promenade, with start and finish lines in the Horia Demian Sports Hall area. Funds collected from registration fees are entirely directed to the charity project.

T-shirt size is guaranteed for registrations until April 10, 2026, after which it is allocated based on availability. Participants receive a race number and timing chip, access to hydration and feeding points, as well as photos at the start/finish and along the route. The top 3 male and female finishers in each event will be awarded, both in the Open category and by age groups. The event supports the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Department, with details about the route and registrations to be announced soon.
