Cros Montan Traversare Igniș

Traversare Igniș is a mountain running competition with tradition, now in its 17th edition, bringing together runners and mountain enthusiasts from the entire region. The event offers two races held in an authentic mountain setting, with real elevation gain and spectacular scenery. The routes include a 14 km Cross with 1000 m positive elevation gain and a semi-marathon of approximately 23 km with 1450 m positive elevation gain. Participants receive a participation kit, hydration points, and medical assistance, and the finish line is at Mountain Pearl Guesthouse.

The start takes place at Podul Berdu, Ferneziu neighborhood, at the base of Lake Firiza. The routes are marked with ribbons, signs, and paint. The participation kit includes a chip number, T-shirt, medal, access to hydration points, medical assistance, and guide. The finish is at Mountain Pearl Guesthouse, the main partner of the event.
