Atinge OMU

Omu Touch is a mountain running race held in the Bucegi Mountains, on the Peștera - Vârful Omu - Peștera route. The event takes place in the first decade of June, when the landscape is dominated by ridges colored by rhododendron. The race offers runners a combination of intensity and natural beauty, and at the end, participants are rewarded with grilled polenta and jintiță. It is an authentic mountain experience, starting from the Peștera cable car station and featuring a friendly and traditional atmosphere.

The start area is at the Peștera cable car station. The event has been a tradition since 2015. Organizers invite participants with a warm and traditional atmosphere. Stunning mountain trails, start and finish at Peștera, mandatory equipment, time limits for the 41 km and 24 km races.
