Race description
Via Transilvanica Marathon 2026 is a sporting event celebrating Romania’s unique nature and heritage, held along the Via Transilvanica route. The marathon offers a 39.3 km challenge with 1,292 m of elevation gain, crossing forest roads, villages, and panoramic landscapes. Participants can enjoy a friendly atmosphere, well-organized checkpoints and hydration stations, as well as activities for children. The event is organized by the Țășuleasa Social Association, which promotes volunteering and respect for nature.
