Ultrabug

Ultrabug is a 3-day fully supported ultramarathon taking place on scenic mountain trails in the Carpathian Mountains of Romania, in the Fundu Moldovei area. The main route covers 100 km through mountain paths, mineral water streams, and villages with a rich culture, suitable for all fitness levels, including first-time ultra participants. The event also includes shorter alternative races such as Marathon XFun, Ultra XFun, and Fun Run to offer varied options for participants. After the race, participants are invited to an award ceremony and a traditional celebration with local food. Ultrabug is internationally recognized, offering iTRA points and being voted among the top 50 ultramarathons abroad.

Jacket/hoodie are included only for registrations made before May 1, 2026. The event offers 3 iTRA points for finishers. After the race, there is an award ceremony and a celebration with traditional food, including BBQ with polenta, cheese, and homemade bread. The race is open to runners, hikers, and walkers, with a minimum age of 18 for the 100 km race, and the 8 km race is open to all ages. The event includes accommodation at Casa Ileana in Fundu Moldovei, offers iTRA points, and has international participation.
