Roșia Montană Marathon is a sports, eco, and socio-cultural event held in the Apuseni Mountains, in the commune of Roșia Montană, Alba County. The 13th edition in 2026 celebrates the nature, history, and cultural heritage of the area, offering varied routes for runners of all levels. The race includes marathon, half-marathon, cross-country, and children's race categories, on routes that combine mountain trails, local roads, and sections of asphalt. Participants can admire natural landscapes and old architecture along the way, in a setting that promotes a healthy lifestyle and respect for the environment.
