Pedală în Bănie ~ 2026

Pedală în Bănie is a sporting event with a tradition in the Dolj region, dedicated to mountain biking and trail running enthusiasts. The event, held in the Palilula area of Craiova, offers routes inspired by the theme "JURASSIC," with challenges that test participants' strength, speed, and endurance. With varied races for all ages and levels, Pedală în Bănie promotes health, community spirit, and environmental protection, providing a complete experience of competition and adventure in nature. The friendly atmosphere and careful organization make this event a celebration of sport and outdoor activity.

The event takes place on June 13 for cycling disciplines and June 14 for running disciplines. Cycling helmets are mandatory for all competitors. Mountain bikes with 26, 27.5, or 29-inch wheels are permitted, and electric bikes are only accepted in the MTB & E-Bike categories.
