Race description
Scaunul Domnului Marathon is a challenging mountain race held in the Scaunul Domnului Nature Reserve, near Deda, Mureș. The event offers several races, including a 42 km marathon, a 21 km half marathon, a 10 km cross-country race, and races for families and children. The courses combine sustained climbs, forest roads, and sections with spectacular views, making them suitable for mountain runners seeking adventure and nature. Safety is a priority, with mandatory gear checks and checkpoints along the course.

Competitor parking is provided in a specially designated area beside the Blidăreasa forest road, accessible from the locality of Bistra Mureșului.
