EcoRun Moieciu ~ 2026

EcoRun Moieciu is a top mountain running event in Romania, held in Moieciu de Sus. The competition includes Marathon, Half Marathon and Cross races, as well as a children’s race, EcoKids. The courses are made up of 90% forest roads and mountain trails, offering an authentic running experience in nature, with spectacular scenery and a passionate community. The event promotes sustainable practices and takes place annually in May, bringing together runners of all levels.

The Cross and Marathon races will have two start waves, at 9:00 and 9:15, depending on the estimated time provided during registration. Marathon participants will start at 9:00; the time will be displayed on their bib. There is a relaxation area and a Pasta Party after the race at Vlahia Inn. EcoKids has separate starts by age category, beginning at 15:00. Registration for the main races opens on March 8, 2026, and closes on May 1, 2026, subject to availability. Mountain trails, activities such as a pasta party and floral ceremonies, with an emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
