ASCOTID Trail Race

ASCOTID Trail Race is an off-road running competition organized annually in the Cornești Plateau area of Târgu Mureș. The event promotes physical activity for all age groups and is initiated by the Association of Diabetic Children and Youth Mureș (ASCOTID). The routes include a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km cross-country races, as well as races for children and families, offering an accessible yet challenging experience due to elevation differences. Participants can enjoy a beautiful natural setting and a friendly atmosphere, with social and health objectives.

Online registrations can be made until September 14, 2026, after which registration is only possible one day before or on the day of the event, without a participation kit. The participation fee is paid by bank card or bank transfer, and registration is validated within 3 working days after payment confirmation. There is an option to transfer the registration to another participant in case of withdrawal, and changing the race category can be done with an additional fee of 50 lei until September 16, 2026. The races for children and families have short distances and a limited time for completion. Online registrations are open until September 15, 2024, with the possibility of on-site registration after this date; the event includes multiple race categories, and details about fees and registration procedures are available on the website.
