Race description
Dumbrava Running is a social-sport-charity event promoting outdoor running and a healthy lifestyle, held in Homu Forest, north of Glogoveanu village, Dâmbovița County. The event includes marathon, half-marathon, and cross races dedicated to the memory of local personalities, offering an experience in nature with accessible trails on paths and dirt roads. The atmosphere is complemented by recreational activities such as Latin dances and a campfire, creating a warm and welcoming community. This is a traditional edition, in its seventh organization, which also supports an important social cause by assisting the Mia’s Children Association.

Additional information
The event includes races for children "In Memoriam" Professor Liviu Marinescu, Latin dances, and a campfire (depending on weather conditions). Participants must send proof of payment of the participation fee via email or WhatsApp. The fee can also be paid via bank transfer or Revolut. The trails are accessible and without major difficulties, without asphalt or concrete. The event is dedicated to the memory of local personalities and supports the Mia’s Children Association. Semi-marathon routes (21 km), cross (10 km), and children's races (4.2 km), staggered starts, social and cultural activities.
